
The principle of VIGAN mechanical loaders is the following:
Many alternatives are possible in order to load a ship with a VIGAN machine (see below).
These illustrations are a typical example where the products are handled to the pier by a wharf conveyor and via an inclined conveyor to the loader.
Passing through the central head of the loader, the products are moving towards the ship holds thanks to a telescopic belt conveyor.
Then they fall through the telescopic loading pipe into the holds.
